The second-hand marketplace Users Express Anger Regarding Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its size classifications for women's and children's garments failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to examine their items and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Updates
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Manual Updates
Another shopper, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: last year, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options after backlash from users.
